MHCV Team Update
Hi valued carers,
Surprise! We have an updated look on the newsletter to match our wonderful website update at mhcv.org.au. It’s been a long time coming, but it’s finally here, and we’re thrilled to present it to you. Our updated design reflects our current branding and aims to provide you with an even better reading experience.
We’re also excited to share that our strategic forum ‘Reaching the Peak Together’ is just around the corner on the 28th of September. We’re grateful to have an extraordinary number of carers who have already signed up for this event. It’s going to be an incredible opportunity to come together, exchange ideas, and shape the future of our advocacy work in the next 3 years. But no need to fret if you missed out on the event sign up – just reach out to us via email and we’ll find a way to get your voice heard.
Looking ahead, we can’t contain our excitement for Mental Health Month in October. It’s a time to raise awareness, promote well-being, and celebrate the resilience of consumers and carers. Keep an eye out on the socials for updates on the exciting events hosted by Carers ACT during Carers Week (15th-21st) as we continue to recognise and honor the incredible contributions of carers like you.
As always, your voice is vital to the work we do and if you have anything you wish to share please feel free to contact us via email mhcarers@carersact.org.au.
All the best,
Catherine Joseph and Catherine Vonarx,
The Mental Health Carers Voice Team
