Hello everyone!
This month our team said goodbye to the wonderful C Moore. C has been invaluable in their role with mental health carers. They have contributed to updating our social media presence, websites, policy and have strengthened our networks throughout the ACT. We wish them all the best and know their future is bright and exciting. We will miss them. Our best wishes and good luck C.
We have rescheduled the Caring Together Conference to Friday 13th February 2022. We are on our way to having a capacity crowd. If you are interested in attending and want to enjoy a free massage as you listen to our exciting presenters go to Event Management (carersact.org.au) to register. If you have any financial barriers to attending, call me and we will look after you. We would love to see you there.
In case you missed Carers month, pop over to Facebook and listen to a song written by and celebrating carers here
Mental Health Carer Voice was delighted to provide an information wallet card to the HAART and Pacer Team to support carers who have had contact with these services. Check out the card here You can download a pdf version here of this card or view the information provided.

Finally, we have 96 responses to our annual survey. Thank you for the phenomenal response. Please continue to fill out the survey, if you haven’t. The survey closes 16th December. It informs the work we do and puts you, mental health carers, at the centre of our work.
Take care,
